Taking Photos

I started out with a nice Pentax camera purchased at an Air Force Base Exchange in Texas. I used it throughout my enlistment on postings in California, New York, Montana, Colorado, the Arctic and Germany. I used it sporadically after leaving the service but gave it up in the 90's. The photos were kept on slides that I poorly cared for and did a bad job digitizing. The photos from that period that I included in this album (70's Stuff) reflect the poor care. I apologize for the quality but they are important to me.

The advent of digital cameras brought me back to photography. It began from enjoying the use of a company provided digital camera to record work related material. That led to a progression of better digital cameras and ultimately to the excellent camera on my Samsung S22 phone.

My family and I eventually moved to Arizona and many of my photos are intended to share my favorite Arizona landscapes with family and friends back in Ohio. However, I also included several photos taken while traveling and some miscellaneous outdoor photos. If anyone else enjoys the photos, all the better.
